Booking

Bookings in DitCal are the result of someone scheduling an appointment using your Event Type link. They represent confirmed meetings, complete with all the relevant details, and serve as the cornerstone of your scheduling workflow.

Manage your bookings from the dashboard

1. What is a Booking?

A booking is a scheduled appointment that:

  • Is made using your shared Event Type link.

  • Reflects all the details you’ve defined (e.g., duration, date, time).

  • Can include custom fields like attendee names, email addresses, or specific notes.

2. How Bookings Work

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Share Your Event Type Link: Invite clients, teammates, or prospects to book a time slot.

  2. Attendee Selects a Time Slot: The attendee chooses from the available slots you’ve defined in your Event Type settings.

  3. Booking Confirmation: Once a slot is selected:

    • You and the attendee receive confirmation emails.

    • The booking is added to your DitCal dashboard and synced to connected calendars.
